MOBILITY UTRERA FEBRUARY 2024
En febrero de 2024 hemos sido de nuevo Centro de acogida Erasmus Plus.
Utrera siempre está lista para recibir a l@s estudiantes y profesoras del Archigymnasium Soest con gran emoción. Hace ya 7 años que participamos en intercambios lingüísticos y culturales repletos de actividades que nos dan la oportunidad de practicar idiomas, conocer otras culturas y hacer amigos. En esta ocasión el eje central es la PROTECCIÓN DEL AGUA EN EL MEDIO AMBIENTE. Ayudamos a nuestros colegas alemanes a realizar el proyecto.
Durante la primera semana de febrero fuimos unos estupendos anfitriones y mostramos UTRERA y su increíble patrimonio cultural y artístico. Sacamos partido a nuestra Guía Turística del anterior proyecto STEP: visitamos el Santuario de Consolación y la Iglesia de Santiago y su campanario, ya reconocido como Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Ahí tuvimos la oportunidad de estrenar las audio- guías en inglés y alemán, ¡realizadas por nuestros propios compañeros! Conocimos la historia de Utrera de una manera muy divertida, gracias a la gymkhana ofrecida por los alumnos del Ciclo de Turismo. ¡Y cómo no! Nos dimos un festín de pasteles, churros y chocolate en la Plaza del Altozano.
También nos sumergimos en el mundo del flamenco con una master class del famoso bailarín y coreógrafo Santiago de Fuentes en la Sala Artre de Francisco Arjona. Este artista internacional, que habla varios idiomas, nos enseñó los pasos básicos de las bulerías de Utrera y los primeros compases de palmas ¡Qué arte!
Tuvimos un día súper tradicional en el Parque del V Centenario. Aprendimos a cocinar paella con un chef experto, hicimos deporte y juegos tradicionales con José, el profesor de EF. También bailamos y cantamos. Escuchar a Triana y a Inma, madre e hija, cantando sevillanas fue muy emocionante. Y es que las familias han sido parte muy importante de este intercambio: nos han preparado unas comidas muy ricas, nos han organizado eventos y ¡¡hasta nos han llevado de excursión!!
Porque no sólo hemos conocido Utrera, sino otros lugares del entorno muy interesantes: en La Puebla de Río nos acercamos a la historia de nuestra tierra en el Museo de la Autonomía y la casa de Blas Infantes. ¡Volveremos para representar nuestra obra de teatro! En La Cañada de los Pájaros y la Dehesa de Abajo (brazo noreste de Doñana) celebramos el Día Internacional de los Humedales y nos explicaron la importancia de estos espacios naturales para proteger especies en peligro de extinción. Ahí hicimos muchas fotos para el proyecto del Agua. En el planetario de la universidad de Cádiz asistimos a una charla sobre la formación del Universo, para aprender un poco más, porque en las clases de inglés leemos sobre astronomía. XXX nos enseñó cómo se trata el agua en las ciudades y paseamos por la playa. En Sevilla, descubrimos las antiguas fuentes y las leyendas del Barrio de Santa Cruz, con María Aviñó y los estudiantes del Ciclo de Turismo
Como siempre, en nuestra Escuela-Museo los guías nos acompañaron en un tour a través de la historia del arte y los alumnos de oratoria y artes escénicas representaron la pieza «Guernica y el Flamenco», con baile, canciones de Bambino y música de Dorantes al piano. Es una fusión genial para promover la paz y la comprensión entre los pueblos. En el Taller, el corazón de nuestro instituto, hicimos los dibujos y textos para los carteles de nuestro proyecto del agua. También se diseñaron mantones de manila y estudiamos la importancia del agua en la arquitectura andalusí. Todos colaboramos en nuestro último gran proyecto: una reproducción de la Puerta de la Justicia de la Alhambra. ¡¡Un bonito souvenir!!

Last February 2024 we were once again an Erasmus Plus reception center.
Utrera is always ready to welcome the students and teachers of the Archigymnasium Soest with great excitement. For 7 years now, we have participated in linguistic and cultural exchanges full of activities that give us the opportunity to practice languages, learn about other cultures and make friends. On this occasion the central axis is the PROTECTION OF WATER IN THE ENVIRONMENT. We helped our German colleagues to carry out the project.
During the first week of February we went great hosts and we showed UTRERA and its incredible cultural and artistic heritage. We took advantage of our Tourist Guide from the previous STEP project: we visited the Sanctuary of Consolation and the Church of Santiago and its bell tower, already recognized as Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. There we had the opportunity to premiere the audio guides in English and German, which had been made by our own colleagues! We learned about the history of Utrera in a very fun way, thanks to the gymkhana offered by the students of the Vocational Studies in Tourism. And absolutely! We feasted on cakes, churros and chocolate in the Plaza del Altozano.
We also immersed ourselves in the world of flamenco with a master class by the famous dancer and choreographer Santiago de Fuentes at Francisco Arjona´s Sala Artre. This international artist, who speaks several languages, taught us the basic steps of the Utrera bulerías and clapping. How skillful! Qué arte!
We had a super traditional day at the V Centenary Park. We learned to cook paella with an expert chef, we played sports and traditional games with Jose, the PE teacher. We also danced and sang. Listening to Triana and Inma, mother and daughter, singing sevillanas was very exciting. We must say the families have been a very important part of this exchange: they have prepared very delicious meals, they have organized events, and they have even taken us on excursions.
Not only have we visited Utrera, but also other very interesting places in the surrounding area: in La Puebla de Río we became aware of the history of our land in the Museum of Autonomy and the house of Blas Infantes. We will return to perform our play! In La Cañada de los Pájaros and La Dehesa de Abajo (northeast Doñana) we celebrated International Wetlands Day and they explained to us the importance of these natural spaces to protect endangered species. There we took lots of pictures for the water project. In the planetarium of the University of Cádiz we attended a lecture on the formation of the Universe, in order to learn a little more about astronomy, as we deal with the matter in the English class. XXX showed us how water is treated in towns, and we walked along the beach. In Seville, we discovered the ancient fountains and legends of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, with María Aviñó and the students of the Tourism Cycle.
Last, but not least, in our Museum-School the guides accompanied us on a tour through the history of art and the students of public speeches and performing arts played the piece «Guernica and Flamenco», with flamenco dance, songs by Bambino and music by Dorantes on the piano. It is a great fusion to promote peace and understanding between people. In the Workshop, the heart of our school, we made the drawings and the texts for the water project. Manila shawls were designed and we studied the importance of water in Andalusian architecture. We all collaborated on our latest big project: a reproduction of the Door of Justice in the Alhambra. It became a nice souvenir!!
