L@S GUÍAS ERASMUS PLUS Y CAMPANEROS DE UTRERA EN LA VII FERIA DEL PLURILINGÜISMO
THE ERASMUS PLUS GUIDES AND BELLS RINGERS OF UTRERA IN THE VII PLURILINGUALISM FAIR
EL CENTRO DE PROFESORADO DE SEVILLA reconoce y publica la actividad ERASMUS PLUS Y CAMPANEROS DE UTRERA como EXPERIENCIA EDUCATIVA DE ÉXITO e invita al José María Infantes a exponerla en un taller organizado con motivo de las VII JORNADAS DE PLURILINGÜISMO PROVINCIAL que se celebraron los días 8 y 9 de junio en la Ciudad del Conocimiento (Dos Hermanas).
La coordinadora bilingüe, Lucía Nieto y la jefa de departamento de inglés, Inmaculada Huertas, acudieron acompañadas de dos alumnos guías del campanario de Santiago, Miguel Ijalba y Gabriel Durán, que también es aprendiz de campanero.
Los campaneros de Utrera mantienen viva la tradición del toque manual de campanas desde hace siglos. El IES José María Infantes tiene una amplia trayectoria preparando al alumnado como guías. Ofrecemos nuestra experiencia y colaboramos con los campaneros de Utrera como guías del campanario de Santiago para difundir su labor.
En el taller tuvimos la oportunidad de explicar cómo se integra dicha actividad en el PROYECTO ERASMUS PLUS y en LA ESCUELA-MUSEO: cuáles son sus objetivos, cómo se lleva a cabo, cómo se evalúa y su impacto en el centro y en la localidad. Los ALUMNOS fueron PROTAGONISTAS en la ponencia, pues conocen de primera mano la gestión y organización de la actividad.
En esta feria del Plurilingüismo pusimos en valor, por un lado, el PODER DE LOS IDIOMAS para transmitir esta tradición al público extranjero, y por otro, el peculiar y tradicional LENGUAJE DE LAS CAMPANAS, que muy pocos tienen la suerte de conocer.
Estamos muy ORGULLOSOS de este proyecto, solidario y sostenible que fomenta la autoestima, la autonomía, la iniciativa personal y el espíritu emprendedor de nuestro alumnado.

THE TEACHER CENTER OF SEVILLE recognizes and publishes the activity ERASMUS PLUS Y CAMPANEROS DE UTRERA as a SUCCESSFUL EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE and invites our school, José María Infantes to present it at a workshop organized with the occasion of the VII CONFERENCE ON PROVINCIAL MULTILINGUALISM, which was held on June 8-9 in the City of Knowledge facilities(Dos Hermanas).
The bilingual coordinator, Lucía Nieto, and the head of the English department, Inmaculada Huertas, were accompanied by two students, guides of the Santiago bell tower, Miguel Ijalba and Gabriel Durán, who is also an apprentice bell ringer.
The bell ringers of Utrera have kept the tradition of manual bell ringing alive for centuries. IES José María Infantes has a long history of preparing students as guides. We offer our experience and collaborate with the bell ringers of Utrera as guides of the bell tower of Santiago to spread their work.
In the workshop we had the opportunity to explain how this activity is integrated into the ERASMUS PLUS PROJECT and into THE SCHOOL-MUSEUM: what the objectives are, how it is carried out, how it is evaluated and the impact it has had on the school and the town. The STUDENTS were PROTAGONISTS in the presentation, as they know first-hand the management and organization of the activity.
In this Multilingualism fair we valued, on the one hand, the POWER OF LANGUAGES to transmit this tradition to a foreign audience, and on the other, the peculiar and traditional LANGUAGE OF THE BELLS, which very few are lucky enough to know.
We are very PROUD of this supportive and sustainable project that fosters self-esteem, personal autonomy, and the entrepreneurial spirit of our students.
